How you'll make an impact:

The Sr Specialist of Training & Enablement is the driver of training, enablement, and communications programs for SiriusXM Media, with a focus on the Client Services (CS) organization. Key programs/ deliverables include CS New Hire Onboarding, CS functional skills up-leveling, on-demand functional job training, information management (ie. CS intellectual property, process + systems guides), CS Manager job tools and coaching, and CS/ Sales communications, ie. All Hands Calls, Newsletters.

What you'll do:

Business Knowledge

  • Proactively immerse in the Account Manager role, identify learning gaps based on trends in the business, and execute on recommended solutions.
  • Monitor feedback and measurement tools to continuously evolve and improve the onboarding experience.

Instructional Design/ Content Development

  • Use Adult Learning Theory to design and deliver training, enablement, information and comms programs that are engaging and impactful, align to audience needs, and have measurable outcomes.
  • Design & produce deliverables that include but are not limited to workshop experiences, facilitator guides, quick reference guides, on-demand eLearning courses, and newsletters/ internal comms.
  • Write quality learning objectives and engaging instruction that meets learning objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure subject matter experts' content and inputs are incorporated into programming in a timely and high-quality fashion.
  • Write quality content for weekly newsletters, monthly/ quarterly all hands calls, on-demand internal communications as needed.

Facilitation

  • Facilitate live in-person and virtual workshops.
  • Present on training and/or comms videos, All Hands calls, coaching calls, and on-demand events.

Program Management

  • Project manage training curricula and full program deliverables, including independently scoping and building timelines, comms, weekly status check-ins, etc.
  • Proactively gain alignment with Managers and project stakeholders.
  • Accountable for training logistics, including scheduling, communications, and run day-of support for live training sessions.

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years in Sales/CS Training or Learning & Development, with experience designing and delivering Sales or CS curriculum; OR 3-5 years experience in Sales or Client Services in media or tech
  • Experience working within a matrix organization; track record of successfully collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Client Services, Product, Operations, HR.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Can command a room and has excellent public speaking skills with large groups
  • Can apply adult learning theory and basic instructional design concepts; can create learning for maximum audience engagement and effectiveness; can measure learning outcomes and business results
  • Excellent proficiency in the entire Google Suite and PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Uses data and insights to craft meaningful and professional executive-level communications + recommendations
  • Has strong interpersonal skills; Enjoys working with others in a collaborative, social environment
  • Has credibility, stature, and personal presence
  • Is flexible with multiple changing priorities and simultaneous projects; Enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; Must possess a sense of urgency and have a strong work ethic
  • Can project manage complex projects with multiple deliverables and tight timelines
  • Has a passion for learning, with energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Willing to work in a hybrid environment, including 3 days/ week from SiriusXM Media hub office
  • Some travel may be required. Role requires ~25% travel

A plus if you have:

  • Experience working within the media industry, specifically radio or digital advertising sales or client services.
  • Video editing skills
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $100,000 to $108,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
