Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Infectious Disease (MD) ranging from $225,519 - 327,533. The posted UC salary scales set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: March 31, 2025 Next review date: Wednesday, Apr 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Mar 30, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine is seeking candidates for faculty positions in the Health Sciences Clinical series at the level of Assistant Professor or above. Responsibilities include in-patient and out-patient clinical service at the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange as well as opportunities for teaching and scholarly activity. Minimum requirements include an MD or equivalent degree, board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases, and eligibility to obtain an active medical practice license in the State of California. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, an individual must possess the following qualifications: Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
