Job Description

The Design Services Coordinator is an essential role at Missouri Online that will help ensure the Design Services team runs smoothly and efficiently. The position will coordinate efforts in multiple areas of the Design Services team. Those areas include, but are not limited to: online course development, online programmatic support, quality online course reviews, faculty development and various team projects. The position must be able to work and administer multiple applications. On a daily basis, the position will partner with Design Services team members, as well as team members across Missouri Online, to accomplish the work.

The Design Services Coordinator will also be required to attend the annual on-site Missouri Online All Staff Retreat and other on-site events as business needs dictate. Travel for this position is expected to be minimal.

Key Responsibilities
Design Services Coordination: Coordinate and support projects associated with online course development, online programmatic support, quality online course reviews, online faculty development and various team projects.
Info/Data Management: Manage project records and documentation and ensure all necessary materials are current and properly stored. Maintain team record keeping, systems and resources. Monitor and track systems use and data integrity.
Communication and Reporting: Liaise with various teams to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Use various systems to create and distribute various reports and dashboards that show Design Team activity and KPI progress.
Administrative Support: Provide crucial administrative support to the Design Services Senior Director, Director and Managers.
Travel: Assist Design Services team members with travel logistics.
Financial: Hold a university One Card and reconcile monthly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The ideal Design Services Coordinator candidate will preferably possess a combination of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Basic project management skills
Strong problem-solving and organization skills
Be highly proficient at using and learning new systems and applications
Ability to effectively manage time, reprioritize job tasks based on business need, and meet deadlines
Ability to proactively listen in order to identify underlying needs and problems
High written and verbal communication skills, especially in regard to effective project coordination that results in successful outcomes
Collaborative approach to coordinating and participating in projects
Ability to work successfully in a remote environment
Self-starter

Shift

Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm CST

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in government or higher education
1+ year experience with online higher education support services
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus
Remote work experience
Possess initiative, flexibility and ability to work independently

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $55,000 - $64,000 per year
Grade: GGS-010
