Cardiology Technician - Stress Testing

• Demonstrates the cognitive and technical skills required to acquire a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) including appropriate preparation of skin surfaces correct placement of electrodes and leads accurate patient identification and verificationelectronic upload of the ECG to the patient's electronic medical record.

• Demonstrates proficiency in the configuration,communication, clinical use and troubleshooting of FDA-approved medical devices including stress testing equipment.

• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: Keyboard, console and workstation repetitive motion. Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
