Job Purpose

In this role, you will supervise, plan, and coordinate the assignments of personnel engaged in support activities for the Electric Operations Organization in Massachusetts and serve as liaison between Electric Operations, internal company departments and external customers.

Key Accountabilities
  • Assign, plan, schedule, coordinate and audit the daily activities of the Work Support personnel.
  • Supervise and review the completion of all mandated forms, reports and Company required documentation to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and internal departments.
  • Monitor work backlog to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Review / approve time entry.
  • Oversee the process of managing some requirements and other associated activities that support the Electric Operations Organization.
  • Support and help drive the standardization of processes and approaches across Electric Services operational activities.
  • Drive performance of the Work Support group through the utilization of metrics. Set expectations of continuous improvement and capture benefits of those improvements.
  • Assist and support the completion of emergency/confirming work and ensure the proper closing and updating in systems in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and monitor support activities during storm emergencies.
  • Create and foster a safe and inclusive working environment.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
  • Experience of managing project teams and projects independently required.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in business administration and 1-2 years of supervisory experience or 3 to 5years of supervisoryexperience required
  • Advanced planning skills including the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Advanced software skills e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) preferred
  • Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, safety codes and labor agreements.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in clerical support, scheduling, operations, work coordination, and distribution design a plus.
  • Clear understanding of local labor agreements.
  • A valid driver's license with a safe driving history that meet's National Grid's Safe Driver policy is required.

Salary:$94,000 - $110,000
