Facilities Maintenance Assistant

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | First Shift

The Facilities Maintenance Assistant plays a key role in maintaining and repairing facility infrastructure to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. This position supports routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the building and its systems.

  Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

  Repairs & Troubleshooting: Address minor repairs and maintenance issues promptly.

  Preventive Maintenance: Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs to enhance system efficiency and longevity.

  Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety inspections and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

  
  
• 
  

  General Upkeep: Support facility cleanliness, painting, and minor renovation tasks.

  
  
• 
  

  Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.

  
  
• 
  

  Inventory Management: Monitor and restock maintenance supplies and tools as needed.

  
  
• 
  

  Team Support: Assist the Facilities Manager and other team members with special projects and facility-related tasks.

  
  

• 
  

  Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience: Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is a plus.

  
  
• 
  

  Skills: Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  Work Schedule: Availability for first shift with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends if needed.
