Your Role With Us:As a Psych Program Therapist, your role will involve a blend of therapeutic intervention, assessment, documentation, planning, communication, and leadership. You will demonstrate competency in providing therapy, both individually and in group settings, following Salem Health policies and procedures. You will proactively engage patients and families, customizing care plans that are age-specific, culturally sensitive, and focused on the patient's current needs and rehabilitation potential. Your responsibilities will include performing ongoing assessments, documenting patient progress accurately in the EPIC EHR, and collaborating with the treatment team to adjust care plans accordingly. You will also develop and implement personalized behavioral plans, assist with discharge planning, and create Wellness Plans to ensure patients are prepared for the next level of care. Communication will be key as you provide clear, concise updates and share relevant information with the team. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive unit environment, lead or co-lead therapy groups, manage resources effectively, and engage in continuous professional development.
