Staffmark is looking for a talented Drafter/Designer to join our team in Monroe, LA. In this direct-hire opportunity, you will play a key role in managing architectural projects from schematic design
through to construction documentation. Keep reading to learn more and apply today!

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Prepare schematic and design development phase documents.
  • Create comprehensive construction documentation for issuance and pricing.
  • Maintain project schedules and communicate concerns with the project team.
  • Update and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) files throughout all project phases.
  • Coordinate with consultants using BIM and 2D CAD documentation.
  • Assist the Architect in reviewing shop drawings.
  • Conduct site visits and document existing structures as necessary.



Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of drafting experience in a construction company.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Office 365.
  • Experience with commercial construction project documentation is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Previous architectural project coordination experience.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
