Are you passionate about supporting international students and making a global impact on higher education? We're looking for a Foreign Credential Evaluator, an Enrollment Services Assistant, Senior (ESA, SR), Processing position, to join our team and play a key role in evaluating foreign credentials for international applicants at Georgia State University and Perimeter College. In this pivotal role, you'll help assess the academic qualifications of applicants from all over the world, ensuring they meet our admissions requirements and receive the best possible academic opportunities.

The candidate for this position will work within the international admissions team to evaluate foreign credentials provided by international applicants to GSU and PC to determine their admissibility and transfer credits.

Key Responsibilities:

* Evaluate International Credentials: Use your expertise to assess foreign educational systems and ensure applicants' academic records align with GSU and PC admissions standards.

* Enhance Processing Efficiency: Provide in-house evaluations to speed up the processing time, delivering timely and efficient service to international applicants and helping expand GSU's international student body.

* Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with the International Admissions team to develop essential forms, web content, operating policies, and assist with various admissions projects.

* Counsel and Support: Advise prospective students on admissions requirements and procedures, offering guidance to make their application process smooth and clear.

* Document Review & Processing: Review academic and non-academic documents for freshmen and transfer applicants, evaluating high school/college transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, and GPA calculations. Enter and manage student data using Banner.

* Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and admitted students by phone and email, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications :

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

* Expert Knowledge: A strong understanding of international educational systems and foreign credential evaluation processes.

* Attention to Detail: Accuracy in reviewing documents and calculating academic credentials, ensuring compliance with university admissions standards.

* Team Player: A collaborative spirit with the ability to work across departments and contribute to admissions projects.

* Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly communicate with prospective students, applicants, and colleagues, both written and verbally.
