Salesforce is hiring a Manager, Comms Analytics for the Corporate Communications team.

The role is an analyst for the US PR team, focused on evaluating program impact across communications channels, identifying trends and opportunities, and converting insights into easy-to-understand recommendations that inform communications priorities and tactics.

The ideal candidate has a background in communications/PR and data analytics, detailed project management experience, a track record of successfully navigating ambiguity, and executive presence. This person thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and knows how to build relationships and influence change.

Responsibilities include:

  • Be a dedicated partner to the PR team, focusing on building relationships, understanding shifting priorities, proactively identifying new research needs, and delivering data-driven recommendations that reflect an understanding of team needs and priorities.

  • Manage workflows, processes, and insights needs across the entire team and across multiple external agencies, applying a rigorous project management approach to ensure no work or needs falls through the cracks.

  • Bring an audience-first, outcome-oriented mindset, and use results + data to influence PR leaders on the most impactful tactics/channels to achieve intended outcomes with specific audiences.

  • Evolve, maintain and socialize a Comms Impact model, applying expertise & best practices to ensure it accounts for the most important audiences and metrics, and that the team understands what goes into it + how to use it.

  • Identify research and audience segmentation needs proactively, prioritize which are most important, spearhead execution, and partner with the PR team to read out results and ensure all analyses and data are used to their fullest potential.

  • Be an amazing administrator, skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, working well under pressure, adhering to a consistent methodology, and keeping measurement tools, dashboards and infrastructure up-to-date.

  • Effectively guide work managed by others and communicate with stakeholders, sharing project timelines and adapting to shifting needs.

  • Constantly look for opportunities to innovate, including piloting new AI tools and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in communications, PR and/or data insights, either in-house or at an agency.

  • Experience in client service and/or stakeholder management, with a deep understanding of how to understand needs and demonstrate progress.

  • Experience measuring communications programs and results, particularly media monitoring and company reputation. Familiarity with industry-standard measurement tools.

  • Ability to present data-driven insights in a clear and concise way to stakeholders.

  • Experience with audience-first communications programs - identifying audiences, mapping how to reach them, and measuring the impact with each audience.

  • An understanding of how to effectively reach core audiences across traditional media, influencers, podcasts owned and paid.

  • Experience working with or managing external agencies.

  • Self-starter who is comfortable managing their initiatives autonomously

  • Thinks on their feet and approaches ambiguity with exceptional judgment.

  • No ego - we're a small but mighty team and everybody rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.
