Full Time (36 Hours/Week), 11a-11p

About the Unit:

The Emergency Department (ED) has 41 beds divided between two pods with 37 private rooms. A split-flow area is located near main triage and provides care to lower acuity patients. Split flow varies from 5-8 patients and is run by 1-2 nurses and a mid-level provider. This fast-paced ED treats an average of 160+ patients per day. ED staff encounter a wide variety of patients including acute cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries and psychiatric patients. The ED is recognized by the American Heart Association as both a STEMI receiving center and a designated Primary Stroke Center.New Graduate RNs are welcome.

Qualifications:

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required
• PALS required within 12 months of hire
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire
