We are currently hiring a Technician II, Quality Control Labs for our sunny Irvine, California site. Technical Operations division located in Irvine, CA. The Technician II, Quality Control Labs works in the areas of inspection or quality test of products within the surgical instrumentation and quality organization. The Technician II, Quality Control Labs will perform quality inspections to standard AQLs. Tasks will typically be interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance in order to qualify parts into stock locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.
  • Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit.
  • Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using hand tools such as Height gages, V-Blocks, Thread Gages, Micrometers and Calipers.

Work hours: 1st shift, 5-230 or 7-430

Travel Requirements: up to 10%
