SUMMARY

The Election Staffing Coordinator is responsible for data input and maintenance in various systems, supporting poll worker initiatives, and responding to all inbound communication related to all manner of Staffing for Election Day and all other Election Processes. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in laws pertaining to Election Officers and understand how they become Elected &/or appointed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Possess a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of all personnel needed for each election, which includes Judges of Election, Majority Inspectors, Minority Inspectors, Clerks, Machine Operators, Student Poll Workers, Elected Constables, Election Day/Appointed Constables, Ballot Canvassers, Tabulators, and Poll Watchers.
* Utilize approved software to maintain accurate records of all Election Personnel, Volunteers & Election Day Schedules.
* Possess a basic understanding of the Commonwealth's Voter Registration System to be able to verify the Voter Registration status of volunteers & Poll Watchers.
* Respond to all inbound communications via phone, email, and online form submissions from new volunteers and current personnel in a timely manner.
* Assists Project Manager during recruiting & training events.
* Lead classroom style, hands on training sessions for all roles.
* Collaborate with Project Manager to optimize training materials to improve procedures/adherence across all positions.
* Execute prescribed Communication Schedule.
* Process paysheets post-election to ensure all Election Personnel are paid in a timely manner.
* Leads Student Poll Worker Program.
* Collaborate with Election Personnel Manager to discover additional recruiting opportunities.
* Demonstrate willingness to assist other teams within Voter Services as needed.
* Willing & able to work evenings/weekends/overtime as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.

* High school diploma or equivalency.
* Proficiency with Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, Mail merge and labels.
* Proficient in data entry and typing skills.
* Excellent inter-personal, oral and written communication skills.
* Must be accurate, well organized and detail oriented.
* Must be able to work calmly and productively under pressure.
* Must have excellent telephone skills.
* Must project a professional demeanor at all times.
