Description
The Business Express Underwriter analyzes sources of financial information in order to approve or deny commercial loan applications within individual lending authority. Responsibilities for the Business Express Underwriter include: Position Requirements: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, however, 2-4 years of related underwriting and/or loan processing experience can be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates must have knowledge of financial and tax accounting, general underwriting, and analytical skills as well as knowledge of credit risk principles. Strong oral and written communication skills are also required. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and have the ability to quickly acclimate to new software and systems. A minimum of 3-5 years of credit analysis experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will also: Education
