This position involves ensuring the timely delivery of meals to patients and picking up soiled trays in the patient's room. Maintaining dietary guidelines, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent service. Qualifications: Required Successful completion of general and department-specific orientation Previous experience in a food service role Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work in a very fast-paced environment Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting Certification in food handling and safety Bilingual abilities Excellent problem-solving skills Scheduling Requirements: Shift Working: 5:30am - 2:00pm, 6am - 2:30pm, or 7am - 3:30 pm Every other weekend & holiday rotation Full Time Essential Functions Timely delivery of meals to patients Picking up soiled trays in patient rooms Delivery of floor stock Maintaining dietary guidelines Contributing to a positive atmosphere Benefits and Perks: At RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees' physical, emotional, social, and financial health.
