About the role:


This position is responsible for analytical activities in support of clinical studies including generating statistical summary tables, listings, figures, and reports primarily using SAS or other reporting tools; working closely with Biostatisticians and Data Management to ensure data analysis activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory and company standards; collaborating with Statistical Programmers, Biostatisticians, Data Management, Safety, and Clinical Project Managers.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week at our Minnetonka, Minnesota location.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Generates analysis datasets, statistical summary tables, listings, figures, and reports primarily using SAS.
  • Extracts clinical data from a variety of databases and converts to SAS format.
  • Performs quality control checks of SAS programs.
  • Develops programming standards, templates, and macros in collaboration with Statistical Programming group.
  • Compiles clinical data, statistical summary tables, listings, and figures, and presents these results to the
  • Biostatistician and internal clinical teams for review.
  • Assists with template development and contributes to statistical analysis plans under the direction of theBiostatistician.
  • Researches and applies statistical procedures and methods as needed.



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum five years of statistical programming experience using SAS to analyze clinical study data.


Preferred qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in statistics or related field preferred
  • Experience with Snowflake and Medidata RAVE preferred
  • Prior experience in Urology preferred
  • Proven knowledge of FDA CFR Part 11 compliance and clinical study processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and project coordination skills with demonstrated ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
