*Project Story: *This business unit serves as a First Line Risk function supporting the Controller group within the combined Banks. The Controller function is unique in the sense that it encompasses all of the Accounting business units, Treasury Operations, Trading, FX, etc. - think front office, middle office and back office business units related to accounting. They also own sourcing and procurement - vendor onboarding, invoice payments, accounts payable, etc. They are presently looking for two First Line Risk professionals because as a combined Bank, they are subject to greater regulatory scrutiny, resulting in the need for major changes in ORM and ERM (SLOD), which in turn trickles down to FLOD for execution. This execution takes place in the form of OREs, Issues Management, RCSAs, regulatory exams, governance documents, resolution planning and requests coming from Internal Audit. *Job Description:* Risk Oversight - Serves as a subject matter expert providing guidance and process coaching to BU to ensure appropriate and effective collaboration between the BU and Risk Management departments. Generates, analyzes, and utilizes BU Risk Reports to identify potential risks that may impact the BU and provides any needed clarification. Continuously tracks and reports on key indicators and limits and ensures timely escalation of breaches as required by the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF). Assists in the review and enhancement of internal controls, ensuring control testing is in place and results are in line with the Control Standards. Risk Collaboration - Assesses impact and provides education around current and emerging issues and regulatory requirements with sr management and BU key stakeholders. Participates in mandatory risk training and educates BU personnel on key risk programs and topics. Risk Governance - Maintains and utilizes strong understanding of business operations, risks, controls and related laws and regulatory guidance. Supports the BU's participation in relevant risk governance group meetings. Monitors and ensures the incorporation of Risk Limits into core BU processes. Provides necessary feedback and coordinates on relevant governance documents to support BU activities and manage risk. Prepares for external audits and provides materials to regulators. Works with senior management to execute the implementation of effective program policies, standards, and procedures. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $51.72/hr.
