Job Duties and Responsibilities



  • Perform inspection and repairs on Process analyzers and Sample systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all types of process analyzers
  • Capable of reading and understanding P&ID'S, PFD'S, and perform maintenance tasks using instrument loop sheets.
  • Responsible for emergency call-out and rotating weekly on-call duty
  • Maintain and promote a safe work environment at all times and follow Safe Work Practices established by TPC Group
  • Maintain electronic and paper documentation for Preventive Maintenance, Mechanical Integrity tasks, and regulatory required calibrations
  • Use of all types of testing equipment
  • Responsible for Preventive Maintenance on Gas Chromatographs (GC)
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of (GC) Siemens Maxum II, Applied Automation (Advanced Opti-Chrom) and Yokogawa GC1000 Mark II analyzers
  • Responsible for Teledyne Continuous Emissions Monitor System (CEMS) Analyzer maintenance, calibration and repair
  • Calibration, repair and maintenance of analytical instruments like O2, CO and Moisture analyzers


Required Qualifications



  • Associates Degree in Instrumentation AND 1 years' experience OR a minimum of 3 years' experience in the maintenance of petrochemical analytical equipment AND high school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and repair analytical equipment
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)

  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or within a group
  • Must live within reasonable commuting distance as company assisted relocation is not available for this position
