• Salary range $100,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and certifications.
• Location: Port Hueneme, CA

Job Summary:

The Computer Scientist support position will be responsible for providing Application Maintenance Support and Cloud Computing. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and be proficient in utilizing various network programs. Additionally, they will be involved in implementing and maintaining applications and systems, while adhering to structured system development lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical configuration, testing and troubleshooting of complex Microsoft Azure Cloud Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) information systems deployments. Tasks include working closely with Government Cloud Broker and Microsoft contacts to identify and implement technical Cloud network configurations that meet NIST and DISA Cloud Security guidelines and policies.
• Provide continuous support for development, maintenance, integration,
  
  configuration management, and documentation of corporate information systems, databases, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) systems, and client/server technologies for all in-service command applications
• Maintain web applications, support web-based collaborative environments, maintain client facing services, and all helpdesk applications.
• Author, maintain, and provide updates to system documentation, quality assurance plans, and configuration management data to support EXWC IT systems
• Ensure that the compliant documentation is produced to support command
  
  operations.
• Provide Microsoft Power Platform application development, maintenance and support for EXWC applications developed in the Navy Flank Speed Microsoft365 tenant. All application modification work shall be documented via customer change management processes. Application development work shall include documentation of Requirements, Use Cases (Narratives and Diagrams), Data Architecture Diagrams, and Activity/Sequence Diagrams.
• Provide continuous support for the Command's cloud computing environment that supports the EXWC Command Corporate/RDT&E infrastructure.
• Support cloud-based server, platform and database infrastructure required to
  
  maintain operational availability and full compliance with Navy cybersecurity requirements.
• Ensure that the customer cloud computing environment is deployed and maintained in compliance with technical directives and standards identified in awarded task orders.
• Document configuration settings and leverage AI/ML workspace provisioning
  
  automation wherever possible to maximize consistency and repeatability.

Qualifications:

• Ability to utilize Microsoft365 Power Platform expertise in Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams to deliver solutions requested by government customers upon approval of site management for effort commitment.
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure Cloud Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML)
• Understanding of NIST and DISA Cloud Security guidelines and policies.
• Security+ CE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP); or an approved
• Bachelor's degree per the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework.
• Agree to stay compliant with the evolving requirements outlined in SECNAVINST 5239.25 and SECNAV M-5239.2./IAW SECNAVINST 5239.25 & SECNAV M-5239.2, CWF as they are continuously being updated.
