Area Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Executional Oversight:

• Manage day-to-day logistics activities across multiple warehouse types (owned and/or operated)
• Ensure efficient warehouse planning, inventory control, and fulfillment execution
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and service delivery in logistics operations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure service excellence
• Solve operational issues through practical methods within defined guidelines and boundaries

People Leadership:

• Lead a team of logistics professionals with full employee lifecycle responsibility (hiring, coaching, performance management, development planning, and separations)
• Set team priorities, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Mentor team members, enabling continuous learning and development
• Create a high-performing team culture through feedback, recognition, and clear expectations

Strategic & Business Development:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of area-specific logistics strategies and business plans
• Support policy development and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Identify opportunities for optimization and cost effective operations

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience (typically 5-7 years) in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in a multinational environment
• Experience in leading teams with direct people management responsibilities
• Strong understanding of logistics networks, warehousing, and fulfillment practices
• Sound decision making skills with the ability to evaluate solutions within a set framework
• Knowledge of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements in logistics operations
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and MS Office tools
