POSITION: HR OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

This role is essential in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth payroll operations, colleague offboarding, HR audits, and HRIS administration.

Key Result Areas:

  • Assist in reviewing payroll data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that payroll is processed on time, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure they are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Administer the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) UKG Ready by updating colleague records, managing data accuracy, and ensuring proper system functionality. Assist in onboarding new colleagues in UKG Ready and ensure their records are properly maintained.
  • Coordinate and manage the offboarding process for departing colleagues, including the preparation of exit packets and final pay details.
  • Work with IT, facilities, and other departments to ensure a seamless transition for offboarded colleagues by entering offboarding tickets in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and reports for internal and external HR audits.
  • Ensure colleague records and files are accurate, up to date, and compliant with company policies and regulations.
  • Help track and resolve any audit findings or issues in a timely manner.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Process Owners of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they're tracked and organized effectively and support team in creating process documents when appropriate.
  • Distribute HR mail to the team and assist with other HR-related projects as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR or administrative roles, preferably with a focus on payroll or colleague relations.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, ADP, Workday, or similar platforms.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
  • Solutions oriented mindset and a customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • A strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.
