The Nursing Professional Development Specialist provides education services and resource support to patient care leadership, clinical staff, and patients. This is accomplished through a variety of services; from staff development and continuing education for employees, to a leadership role in committee/project work. The position requires an independent, critical thinking, self-motivated individual who demonstrates effective decision-making and problem- solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to take a leadership role in facilitating organizational change through partnerships with staff and managers

Qualifications:
  • Master's of Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Degree with a clinical focus or Master's Degree with Nursing Education focus
  • 3 years clinical nursing experience
  • Teaching adult learners
  • Development of learning materials
  • State of WI RN licensure or is eligible for State of WI licensure
