We are seeking a highly-motivated, outgoing and creative individual with experience producing comedic, relevant, and engaging social media content to join the NYC Department of Transportation's Office of Communications as a Creative Strategist. Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or Preferred Skills
Requirements and Qualifications -Outstanding creativity and sense of humor -A proven track record in developing and executing creative strategies on social media -Proficiency in writing for digital communications -Demonstrated knowledge of how to creatively use communications platforms to build engagement and advance goals -An ability to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues in a fast-paced environment -2+ years of experience in creative strategy, social media, advertising, or marketing preferred -Experience with commonly used video and image editing programs is strongly preferred -Bachelor's degree in a communications-related field preferred. New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment.
