Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of internal tools and capabilities focused on Generative AI, process automation, and other technologies.

Collaborate with individual employees, cross-functional teams, and various business units
Learn about AMERICAN SYSTEMS' corporate environment, what drives projects, and how such projects benefit the company.
Apply what's learned during technical work to understand how it fits into a bigger business picture

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
1 year of practical and/or academic experience in research, data entry and analysis, or reporting
Knowledge of the basics of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and other relevant technologies
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, etc.
Experience with research and technical writing
An interest and curiosity in technological potential and drive to advance technology

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $43,200.00/Yr. - USD $72,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
