JOB TITLE: Management Analyst II

LOCATION: Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC

SUPPORTING: PEO UWWS

JOB CATEGORY: Full-Time

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

COMPENSATION: At Patrona Corporation, salaries are determined by various factors, including location, an individual's unique combination of education, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational needs. The salary range or hourly rate provided reflects the typical range for this position and represents just one part of Patrona Corporation's comprehensive total compensation package.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field (or commensurate experience).
  • Five (5) years' experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs, project teams, or operations in various stages of development and acquisition.
  • Understanding of data base management and display tools to track program execution status, contract execution status, and contract deliverables.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills, including project plans, white papers, proposals, and formal presentations.
  • Able to work effectively in a "digital office" environment with significant use of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of contract management, execution of various types of contracts, federal acquisition regulations, and financial management.
  • Working knowledge of DOD 5000.
  • Experience with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, including the Middle Tier of Acquisition, Major Capability Acquisition, Acquisition of Services pathways.
  • Experience tracking program progress via RDAIS and DAVE reporting.
  • Experience with major acquisition program documents such as Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Program Baselines (APB), & CHINFOs.
  • Experience with PowerBI and other data visualization tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work independently and energetically in researching various Acquisition Topics and Documentation, DOD 5000, Other Transaction Authority acquisitions, and Milestone Requirements for various acquisition pathways.
  • Work across Team Submarine PEO staff and Program Office Branches; evaluate acquisition performance data, summarize relevant information, and brief government client. Apply understanding of agencies' mission, organizational interrelationships and priorities and consider the resource implications of decisions.
  • Coordinate with PEO and program offices to ensure the timely development, routing, approval, and tracking of acquisition program documents.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organizational skills to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals, and develop systems for achieving those goals.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple duties/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams, and to adjust schedule to address workload demands.
