Job Summary As the Director, IT Project Management at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for managing the IT Project Management Program, from strategic design, implementation, education, standards and adherence to the program and platform utilization. You will managing Strategic, Application and Technical Project Managers In addition, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities with the goal of reducing manual efforts, contributing to growth of the organization, promotion user experience and creating innovative solutions with operations, fostering strong working relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to align technology solutions to the goals of the program, promoting the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms, budgeting, and management/administrative tasks assigned. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices. What you will do:
- Provide strategic leadership for the development and implementation of IT PMO strategy, aligning it with overall IT and organizational goals, with a focus on integrating agile methodologies with the project portfolio.
- Oversee the implementation and management of project management tools and technologies, monitor and track performance, identifying and mitigating risks, taking corrective actions as needed, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.
- Recruit, develop and lead a high performing team of IT project managers, and scrum masters; fostering skill development in agile methodologies and consultative business relationships.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the IT PMO's processes, tools, and methodologies, focusing on incorporating agile principles and automation where applicable.
- Establishes relationships with domain leaders to understand strategic business needs and user needs; identifies business requirements to guide specifications for ease of business operations.
- Lead or participate in governance committees to collaborate with key stakeholders about priority and workload.
- Mentors' direct reports through oversight of activities such as: Capital and Operating budgets, policy and procedure development and maintenance, talent management and acquisition, sustaining relationships with operational stakeholders, governance activities, and other duties as assigned.
- Remains updated on latest technologies available in the market and promotes the implementation of relevant technologies. Participates in industry related organizations, such as HIMSS, CHIME, Epic UGM / XGM, VMWare World, as appropriate.
- Collaborate and actively participate across functional components led by other leaders, ensuring overlaps and touch points are seamless, effective, efficient and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Collaborates with vendors to ensure systems and solutions are achieving or exceeding the needs of Endeavor Health.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, or a relevant related field OR equivalent work experience. (Master's preferred).
- Certifications: PMP preferred
- Experience: Five (5) or more years ofexperience in managing processes, applications, or systems in a healthcare setting or relevant related industries.
- Three (3) or more years of leadership experience as defined as essential to the role.
- Unique or Preferred Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong technical skills.
- Strong understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with efficiency.
