Overview

We are seeking a mid- level Electrical Engineer to support our Washington, DC office. Candidate will develop maintenance and testing procedures, evaluate electrical and electronic systems, and recommend design modifications or repairs. Additional responsibilities include inspecting equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.


What will you do?

  • Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electric and electronic components and equipment.

  • Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.

  • Inspect electric and electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.


Do you have what it takes?

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4 years - 7 years of relevant experience

  • Professional experience in electrical/electronic design

  • Must have active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to sustain one

Preferred skills:

  • Master's level degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

  • Professional Engineer License

  • Professional experience in electrical/electronic design for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $74,500-$110,080 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.

This position is contingent upon contract award
