Looking for an opportunity where you can use your financial and budgeting expertise to support acquisition programs for a fast-paced product office, then DCS has a great opportunity for you! As a skilled Cost Analyst at our Huntsville, Alabama, customer location, you will provide cost analysis and budget execution support to U.S. Army acquisition programs and integrated government teams. This opportunity will allow you to support a variety of programs and task areas in a fast-paced product office. This is a full-time, onsite position. Essential Job Functions: Provides initial planning documents, program, and schedule breakdown structures, budget requirement analyses, and earned value guidance to Program/Product Directors and Integrated Product Teams. Provides support during review of contractor proposal submittals, including review of submitted hours, direct labor rates, overhead rates, other direct costs and general review of the contractor's Work Breakdown Structure. Prepares Program Office Estimates (POE), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD), Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), Component Cost Analysis (CCA), Business Case Analysis (BCA), and Affordability Analysis and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) in accordance with Army and DOD cost estimating policies. Develops and refines cost estimate by analyzing historical data and applying quantitative models, techniques, tools, and databases to predict future program costs. Conducts data collection to develop parametric cost estimates. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Must hold or be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Master's degree in business administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics and 10+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree (in aforementioned concentrations) and 15+ years of relevant experience supporting DOD acquisition programs. Demonstrated experience using Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) to develop cost models. Knowledge of DoD Acquisition statutory and regulatory requirements and acquisition policy. Possess technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously. Possess strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to work as part of a team. |
