Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Accounting Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight in managing key accounting programs, particularly in the administration of SAP Concur and driving operational efficiencies within the accounting team. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, optimizing accounting processes, overseeing system configurations, and delivering key financial initiatives to meet business objectives. Exceptional project management, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*SAP Concur Management:
- Administer and maintain the Concur expense management system, managing user access, permissions, and system settings.
- Configure policies, audit rules, and workflows to ensure compliance and efficiency in the expense management process.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports to track and analyze expenses for the accounting teams.
- Provide technical support to Concur users, addressing and resolving system and procedural issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct training sessions to help users understand Concur functionalities and process workflows.
- Stay up to date on Concur software updates and processes, ensuring that users are trained on new features and best practices.
- Collaborate with accounting teams and stakeholders to propose process improvements for enhanced efficiency
*Accounting Program Management:
- Lead and manage key accounting initiatives to drive operational efficiencies, aligned with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal finance teams to identify areas for process improvements within the accounting function.
- Analyze data and feedback to recommend and optimize future initiatives.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of proposed initiatives to ensure organizational buy-in.
- Support the implementation of new accounting applications, ensuring the timely delivery of projects.
- Supervise and track the progress of accounting initiatives against established timelines, ensuring all critical metrics are met.
- Manageand report on department critical metrics, ensuring transparency and timely communication of progress and results.
*Collaboration and Process Optimization:
- Work cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and other business teams to improve processes, maximize efficiency, and ensure the successful completion of financial projects.
- Track and manage the progress of department initiatives, ensuring they align with internal methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Adhere to standards and procedures for reporting, documentation, and compliance, maintaining a strong focus on audit readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance program management.
- Proven experience in administering SAP Concur or similar expense management systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of system configuration, user support, and process optimization.
- Experience in managing large-scale accounting initiatives and driving operational efficiencies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with finance, accounting, and IT departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and implement new processes and technologies.
- Prior experience supporting the implementation of third-party solutions (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) is desirable.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $141,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
