Position Description

At TTUHSC Permian Basin Family Medicine, we promote a people-centered learning environment for students, residents, and fellows to foster growth and success. Our department provides care through a vast and diverse regional network rooted in community engagement.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Provide Hospitalist Services including patient admissions and patient rounding performing such medical examinations as are necessary and appropriate for all patients.
  • Maintaining appropriate records, reports, claims and correspondence necessary in connection with all professional services performed by the physician.
  • Provide On Call services for hospitalized patients from home.
  • Train students and residents to be successful in their future careers, placing a strong focus on education and evidence-based practices.


Occasional Duties


Required Qualifications
  • MD/DO/MBBS Degree.
  • Completion of, or in process of completing, a Family Medicine Residency.
  • Ability to obtain a TX Medical License.
