The Ideal Candidate
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic partner that will be responsible for aligning people-related initiatives to the needs and long-term strategies of the assigned areas and overall business. Leading and coordinating efforts which positively impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of talent as well as maintain the company's strong culture. Assigned areas include Johnston & Murphy and Genesco Brands Group as well as some Centers of Excellence (COEs). While building strong relationships, credibility and trust, the focus will be to establish a business partner model within these areas. Providing consultative support to leaders, managers and employees and having the ability to fluctuate between strategic and day-to-day needs. The HRBP is an active member in assigned areas' leadership teams and has a high level of business acumen. Reporting to the CHRO, you will serve as a member of the HR leadership team and may be asked to take on more strategic initiatives as well. You will also work closely with the Director of HR Business Partnerships ensuring we create a consistent business partner experience. How You Will Make an Impact
