Shift: 9:00AM- 5:30PM

BASIC FUNCTION



  • Dispenses, processes, and prepares internal and external customers sample request for shipment. Communicates internal rejections and customer deadline issues to Supervisor/Manager. Provides support for creation and application labs at Edison 1.
  • Participates in projects and continuous improvement.



CORE RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Fills and processes internal and external customer sample request by acquiring, dispensing, and labeling stock samples from inventory
  • Processes request in LCMS, labels product for shipment and stages for shipping, with all appropriate paperwork and documents
  • Ensures fresh samples are sent to customers by monitoring manufacturing and expiration dates.
  • Communicates deadline problems to Planning Supervisor or Manager
  • Navigates in LCMS to assure that special handling or shipping instructions are located and followed.
  • Performs inventory transactions and adjustments in SAP ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinates special documentation and approvals between QC departments at multiple sites and the Sample Department shipping area, by printing COA's and ensuring all documents from the account coordinator accompany samples to shipping.
  • Coordinates the organoleptic approval process by delivering taste samples to labs for evaluation for all processes receieved from Trial Order area.
  • Follows up on flavor approvals in order to meet deadlines
  • Provides support for Creation and application labs at Edison 1
  • Performs cycle counting, pulling discards from inventory. Other warehousing functions



PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in flavor, ingredient, food or chemical manufacturing.
  • Able to likt up to 50 lbs
  • SAP, bar/scanning, experience preferred



TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES




  • Knowledge of chemical hazards and inventory control techniques are required.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and basic computer skills
  • Familiararity with U.S and Metric weighing systems.
  • Good organizational skills and an undertsanding or work priorittizations.
