Industrial Hygiene Practice Manager

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Industrial Hygiene Practice Manager to lead short- and long-term consulting engagements nationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EH&S concepts, challenges, and emerging issues, and will proactively identify opportunities and unresolved needs-delivering effective solutions for both existing and new clients while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in an EH&S and CIH capacity.

This position reports to the Vice President. This role is onsite and is based in San Leandro, CA.The pay range for this position is $120,000-$140,000 plus variable bonus.

Responsibilities:



  • Maintain a client-focused mindset with strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach-capable of meeting deadlines even in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
  • Oversee multiple engagements while providing strategic direction, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and offering actionable guidance to junior team members
  • Contribute to identifying core issues aligned with study objectives and assist in developing corresponding team work plans
  • Lead strategic initiatives and uncover growth opportunities within existing client engagements
  • Support the sales team in client engagement, opportunity research, proposal scoping and development
  • Be an active participant in industry events, representing Triumvirate as a leader in EH&S and related services
  • Build high-quality relationships with senior client team members
  • Establish and deliver Subject Matter Expertise across key functional areas and industry-specific operations
  • Contribute to Triumvirate's growth by sharing knowledge and methodologies, developing case studies and proposals, supporting marketing efforts, and assisting with recruiting
  • Ensure that required administrative tasks (timesheets, backlog reports, expenses) are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Billable target of 1,400 hours/year


Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field required; Master's degree and/or relevant industry certifications preferred
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) required
  • Technical experience within industrial hygiene, exposure monitoring, indoor air quality control, and/or Clean Air Act compliance, Title V and state permitting, and air emissions tracking and reporting
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental and/or safety operations within one of our client sectors (Life Science, Industrial, Health Care)
  • Experience in delivery and managing client services
  • Strong technical perspective on industry trends, emerging needs, and events that may impact Triumvirate's services and clients
  • Forward-thinking mindset with a strong focus on client satisfaction and relationship building, ability to meet project deadlines, and demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to inspire and provide leadership to the organization at all levels, coach junior consultants in their career paths both technical and soft skills
  • Support business development efforts and assist Account Managers in fostering ongoing client relationships and expanding current projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of Triumvirate and senior client staff
  • Comfort with traveling and being present at client sites
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  • Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)and overtime as needed
  • Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
  • The CIHfrequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Prior relevant industry experience
  • Experience as a consultant preferred
  • CSP, RBP, CHMM certifications a plus
  • Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
  • Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
