Milwaukee, WI Late 1st shift, 9: 00am - 7:30 pm Monday - Thursday $20 - $21 p/hr Summary Operate machines to perform standardized operations. Recognize defective materials and machine malfunctions. Observe continuous operation of machines to ensure that products meet specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs forge operations and setups in accordance with Operation Standards and Work Instructions. Read work orders, work instructions, formulas, or processing charts. Maintain production documentation. Position and secure inserts, hand loads and work pieces on machines. Remove finished products from machines, using hand tools and other equipment. Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Maintain customer quality standards. Fill in appropriate information on labels and associated documentation needed on products when necessary. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Final packaging of products for shipment. Responsible for clean-up procedures. Training new team members on proper procedures and techniques. Perform re-work duties as assigned. Relieve other operators for breaks as needed. Act as a back up to the Inspector whenever necessary. About SITE Staffing, Inc.
