How YOU will make a Difference:

The Implementation and Proposal Manager role contributes to HMAs success by ensuring all aspects of setting up new a client and completion of proposals are completed correctly and on time ensuring broker and client satisfaction. As a member of the Sales Operations team, you will provide oversite for new client implementations and RFP responses as well as participate in department and corporate projects.

What YOU will do:

Implementation Management:

  • Lead and manage implementation of new business end-to-end after verbal award, maintaining communication throughout the course of the project.
  • Ensure smooth transition to operations post go-live.
  • Accountable for client education and management of expectations. Will identify and communicate issues that surface during the implementation process working to solve and coordinate resolution.
  • Advocate, develop and execute continuous process improvement mythologies and tools.
  • Maintains an excellent working knowledge of our product portfolio, operational capabilities and processes relating to, for example, benefit plan design, enrollment, billing, and claims administration.

Proposal Management:

  • Manage the proposal process including task delegation, response editing and submission.
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to manage deadlines, coordinating meetings for review and execution of proposals, questionnaires and other components.
  • Peer review Proposal Specialist admin quote drafts, data entry into Salesforce, disruption report results and questionnaire responses.
  • Assist in tracking information in Salesforce.
  • Oversees and requests updates to the sale response data base from SMEs to ensure information is accurate/current.
  • Lead process improvement efforts to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction related to the proposal process.

Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:

  • AA/BA in Business Administration, Healthcare Informatics, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 3-5+ years of relevant implementations and proposals experience in the healthcare industry required
  • Experience writing and editing RFPs required
  • 3 years of project management experience with a track record of leading successful projects
  • Experienced using workplace tools like Smartsheet, RFPio, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, MS Office Suite, etc.
  • Proven ability to work successfully across an organization with multiple business groups
  • Results driven & detail oriented
  • Highly organized
  • Someone who has great communication skills (verbal and written) and can communicate with all levels of personnel internally and externally
  • Passionate about delighting customers by consistently exceeding their expectations
  • Eager to be part of a fun, collaborative, fast-paced team

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position in the greater Seattle area is $108,000 - $121,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available.
