Electrified Propulsion Performance Test (ePPT) Intern

• EMS and OBD-II Calibration & Validation
  
  
  
  • Assist in EMS/OBD calibration and validation for North American requirements, including control function calibration and validation for mass production with a focus on Gasoline Particulate Filter and new technology development for enhanced emission regulations
  
  
  
  

• Project Support & Technical Problem-Solving
  
  
  
  • Support team success by coordinating test and development plans, tracking project status, providing technical support for pre-production issues, and delivering presentations on project milestones and results
  
  
  
  

The intern will gain hands-on experience in EMS/OBD calibration and validation processes for North American requirements. They will contribute to successful project completion through active participation in validation tests, issue resolution, and the development of new technologies, culminating in presentations that highlight project achievements.

• Basic Qualifications:
  
  
  
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering
    
    
    
    • Preferably, sophomore standing or higher
    • Considering graduate students, too
    
    
    
    
  • Experience developing MATLAB or Python scripts for data analysis and visualization
  • Strong analytical capabilities, written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire to take responsibility for an engineering task related to emission reduction and develop a plan to execute it
  
  
  
  

• Preferred Qualification(s):
  
  
  
  • Hands-on vehicle experience or student project experience in Formula SAE/Baja/Ecocar or robotics
