ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Helps CAO achieve maximum productivity, including proactive calendar management, coordinator and preparing meeting agendas, scheduling, coordinating travel, processing expense reports and note and file management.
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings, events, travel arrangements for division leaders.
  • Prepares or coordinates the preparation of documents, presentations, reports and research material as requested. This includes letters, memos and other correspondence developed in a professional manner.
  • Compiles and transmits division reports to the President's office for monthly Board meetings.
  • Acts as division records coordinator by maintain accurate electronic and hard copy files in support of ongoing projects and activities while in accordance with company retention guidelines.
  • Assists the CAO in the preparation of the annual division budgets.
  • Assist CAO/Giving Committee in coordinating charitable giving requests and disbursements.
  • Retrieves and compiles data and statics for use in various proposals and projects.
  • Assists with special projects and programs such as employee recognition and employee surveys.
  • Prepares and reconciles the HR department credit card and processes monthly invoices.
  • Responsible for onboarding department new hires to include onboarding packets, training schedules office set up and campus tours, etc.
  • Provides HR support to include the backup support for the company store, summer intern program, Edison Electrical Institute (EEI), access badges.
  • Provides reporting support to using HRIS system and employment verifications.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
  • Professional appearance and a pleasant demeanor along with the ability to remain calm under pressure, required.
  • Due to the obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of this job.



Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED, plus at least 2-5 years experience in HR and/or supporting c-suite executive(s) or other relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Driver's license

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Social media experience

SHRM or HRCI certification

Competent and professional in both written and verbal communications with internal or external customers.

Strong technical aptitude: able to learn HRIS reporting system and provide additional support as needed.
