Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 We are seeking a positive individual with strong relationship-building skills to join our Purchasing team as a Category Manager!The Category Manager is responsible for managing and driving category specific contract coverage and compliance. Areas of responsibility include medical supplies, non-medical supplies, implants, devices, equipment and purchased services with a focus on "best value" and Total Cost of Ownership. This position collaborates with service line, administrative, and physician leaders with the goal of attaining supplies and services that offer the optimal balance of cost quality and outcomes. The Category Manager takes ownership of their assigned categories and provides proactive suggestions for improvement of expenses, guidance on all non-labor business decisions, manages the portfolio of agreements, and is comfortable presenting and discussing complex Supply Chain initiatives to all levels of leadership.
