A Quality Control & Receiving Technician at SET Environmental is responsible to: Requires taking ownership of the gas cylinder inventory Work directly with Department Supervisors and Operators Assist in receiving and QC of Gas Cylinders Safe Movement of waste cylinders and drums Assist with housekeeping of cylinder storage areas Update Wastrak Data entry and file management Maintain COI inventory spreadsheets to meet DHS requirements Retrieve cylinders from inventory Ensure proper segregation and storage of waste containers Miscellaneous requests as needed POSITION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred Attention to detail and accuracy is a must Strict adherence to protocols for handling pressurized and highly reactive chemicals Must be self-motivated with strong problem solving skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability and willingness to learn DOT and EPA regulations 40 hour Hazwoper training and forklift certification is required Experience with, and handling of, compressed gas cylinders is a major plus
