Department: Hilo Corps Position Title: Shelter Worker Reports to: Program Director FLSA Status: Non -Exempt Date: June 2024 General Statement: The Salvation Army (TSA) is a branch of the Christian Church, and the ultimate goal of all programs is a spiritual regeneration of all people. Job Summary: The shelter worker is responsible for the safety and security of the residents and volunteers who are in our facilities including congregate settings and non-congregate settings. Treating all those receiving services with dignity, respect, and understanding, the shelter worker implements the rules of the program fairly and equitably. Any special or unusual concern is to be brought to the immediate attention of the supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
