Job Description Summary: The role of Sr. Branded Products Portfolio Manager - Adjuvants is to provide leadership to specific product areas within the Branded Technologies group, including the identification of marketing needs, pricing, strategy implementation and assistance with creation of marketing support materials, to enhance growth and profitability. This position also has responsibility assisting with financial analyses and performance metrics to assist in managing product lines and inventories.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agricultural Product/Portfolio Management or a related field

  • Deep understanding of Ag industry crops, technologies and practices, including extensive market and adjuvant knowledge

  • Experience in developing successful marketing programs and collateral materials

  • Ability to develop the strategic direction, long-term and annual product plans for assigned branded technologies (adjuvants)

  • Expertise in growing sales and profitability for plant nutrition product lines

  • Strong ability to support tactical marketing needs and oversee all phases of direct project launches

  • Demonstrated skill in coordinating field input into the business planning and execution process

  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft software and other common business tools, and capability and interest to learn new tools as needed

  • Experience and proficiency in analyzing product information, R&D data and market information

Key Personal Attributes Include:

  • Proven leadership ability, including ability to build relationships with cross functional team members, and the entire Branded Technologies Team

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills

  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities. Must have the ability to remain detail oriented with a wide range of responsibilities

  • Skill in creative and critical thinking to achieve goals

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

  • Identifying key external and internal stakeholders and working with them to develop business and marketing strategies

  • Branding Wilbur-Ellis products, coordinating sales training, information sharing and data development as needed to support marketing strategies

  • Collaborating around the idea initiation, product formulation, registration, sourcing, packaging, promotion, education, etc. to introduce new branded products

  • Provide pricing guidance and market intelligence to the field sales staff.

  • Maintain and build relationships with key suppliers.

  • Aid in identification of new product opportunities and new market access points for assigned products

  • Extensive travel, up to 50%

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $142,800 - $200,030.Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.

  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
