Primary Function:

Responsible for setting up machinery, feeding or catching lumber on various machines in the Mill or Glue Department. Verify accuracy of order using tape measures and digital caliper.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Set up machinery according to specifications to run orders

* Feed or catch lumber from various machines

* Verify accuracy of orders using tape measure and digital caliper

* Provide general cleaning duties when required

* Assist in yard as needed

* Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

* Must be able to read a tape measure and count and identify material accurately

* Ability to accurately set up machines

* Forklift Experience is a Plus

* Excellent communication skills

* Must be able to work well with others

* Dependable and reliable attendance

* Ability to read, write and speak English

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to lift lumber up to 60lbs (occasionally) when running orders

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time and do a fair amount of walking
