JOB ANNOUNCEMENT PROJECTS ADMINISTRATOR OFFICE OF PUBLIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION Grants Number of Positions: 1 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $86,520.00 Applications for this position will be accepted until 11:59pm Central time on 05/04/2025. Successful candidates must pass a drug screen and a background investigation. Persons offered employment must pass all pre-employment exams prior to appointment. Under the direction of the Director of Grants Management, the Grants Project Administrator will actively and substantially contribute to the management of the entire public safety grants portfolio by gaining technical knowledge of all public safety grant programs and specialist-level knowledge of grants under their responsibility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree, plus five (5) years of grant administration, public safety, or project management work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. NOTE: You must provide your transcripts or diploma at time of processing, if applicable. SELECTION REQUIREMENTS This position requires applicants to complete an interview, which will include a written exercise and/or a skills assessment test as part of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.
