Manufacturing Process Engineer - 2nd Shift | Milwaukee, WI
DIRECT HIRE | $34-$40/hr + $1/hr shift premium | $2/hr Weekly Perfect Attendance Bonus
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2PM-10PM

We're hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer for our client in Milwaukee, and this role is ideal for a skilled professional ready to enhance process performance, drive innovation, and collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize injection molding processes using scientific molding principles
  • Lead mold revisions and repairs, coordinate with Mold Maintenance and Engineering teams
  • Evaluate and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
  • Support cross-functional teams: Engineering, Quality Assurance, Tool Room, and Manufacturing
  • Conduct viscosity curves, DOE's, SPC analysis, and troubleshoot processing problems
  • Maintain FEMA's/PFEMA's and support IATF16949/ISO14001 certification processes
  • Visual inspections and troubleshooting of manufactured parts and molds
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required; technical certification/degree in Plastics Technology preferred
  • 5+ years experience in all aspects of injection molding
  • Advanced knowledge in thermoplastics processing, mold design, and mold construction
  • Experience with SPC, DOE, PFEMA's, APQP, PPAP, MSA
  • Proficiency in interpreting 2D CAD drawings and using QA lab testing equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Forklift certified or willingness to become certified
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for up to 12 hours
