This team is responsible for creating solutions to help accomplish objectives for many engineering and technical functions at Starkey. The primary charter of the team is to explore and bring new process technologies into the organization. Achieving this objective will involve cross-functional collaboration with multiple R&D and Operations departments. The Team will also explore, design, and build a variety of fixtures, equipment, automation, and point solutions to enable Operations' objectives. The Manager of AME must have the vision, communication ability, technical awareness, persistence, and team-building skills necessary to maintain and deliver current and new manufacturing processes to the company. The Manager must have a passion for continuous improvement and the skills and experience to execute through technically-complex engineering projects. As such, this position requires knowledge in various engineering disciplines to help develop, design, purchase, and implement new process technologies and new solutions key for the organization's growth.
