The Opportunity: The Locker Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the locker room facilities. This role ensures that the locker rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked while providing a welcoming and high-quality experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, service-driven/self-motivated, and work well unsupervised.

Duties and Functions



  • Supervise and manage all aspects of the locker room, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and overall presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, addressing needs and requests promptly.
  • Oversee locker assignments, including issuing and maintaining records for lockers.
  • Complete inventory of products used in the locker room and place orders as necessary to ensure proper PAR levels are maintained.
  • Ensure all amenities such as towels, toiletries, and grooming products are well-stocked and replenished as needed.
  • Maintain and enforce cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist members with shoe care, including cleaning and polishing, as well as minor garment care as needed.
  • Manage a team of locker room attendants, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate laundry services for towels and other club linens, ensuring timely turnaround.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues, such as plumbing, lighting, or HVAC concerns, to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and submit orders for replenishment as necessary.
  • Provide personalized service to all members while utilizing the locker room.
  • Deliver items (such as food and drink orders) to members in the locker room.
  • Ensure lost and found items are properly handled and documented.
  • Support special events and tournaments by coordinating locker room preparations and services.


Qualification Standards



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality or management training is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality, customer service, or facility management role, preferably in a country club, resort, or upscale facility.
  • Additional hospitality management training.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with members, guests, and staff.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of laundry services, housekeeping standards, and facility maintenance best practices.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
