Licensed Vocational Nurse Category: Healthcare & Medical Employment Type: Contract To Hire Reference: BH-384560 Immediate need for Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in an Intermediate Care Facility that supports individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. (LVN) - IDD / ICF Location: Redding, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM \| 30 hours/week Overview: Seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) team in Redding, CA. This position supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a community-based residential setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, G-Tube/GJ-Tube care, and tube feedings Conduct health assessments and implement treatment plans Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote quality of life and community integration Monitor for and address challenging behaviors and/or mental health needs as appropriate Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful lives in their communities. Our services help promote independence, self-sufficiency, and connection to community resources. Preferred Qualifications: Current LVN license in the state of California Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or community-based IDD setting Experience administering medications to multiple individuals Experience with G-Tube/GJ-Tube feedings and care Knowledge or background working with individuals with dual diagnosis (IDD + mental health) is a plus Pay: $40-42.00/hr Recruiter: Trish Brannan C - 310-427-0627 E - trish.brannan@yoh.com "Any pay ranges displayed are estimations which may have been provided by job boards.
