Maintenance Technician

• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of facility equipment, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; make necessary repairs.
• Complete general building repairs such as painting and fixing walls, doors, floors, and plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, valves, etc.).
• Replace and maintain lighting systems throughout the building, including emergency and exterior lighting connected to the energy management system.
• Maintain and repair ceiling tiles, grid systems, 120V outlets, photoelectric sensors, and lighting contactors.
• Handle snow removal during winter months using equipment like snow blowers and apply de-icing materials.
• Maintain and repair doors, door hardware, carpet tile, and rubber base as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, communicate effectively with management and tenants, and manage work order updates or delays.

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4-6 years of related experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Able to understand and follow safety rules, procedures, and manuals
• Capable of writing reports and speaking to groups effectively
