Pay Rate: $28-$34/hour

1st Shift Available

As a Plumber, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe systems and fixtures related to heating, cooling, water distribution, sanitation, and high-pressure systems in commercial facilities. This includes working with drainage systems, high-pressure steam and air systems, and hot water systems. You will interpret blueprints, mark pipe placements, cut openings in walls and floors, and use mechanical tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes to specification.

You'll also:

• Assemble and install pipe systems using materials such as steel, brass, iron, copper, and plastic
• Join pipe systems through soldering, caulking, brazing, or welding
• Test piping systems using air or water pressure gauges
• Install and maintain fixtures such as sinks, water heaters, commodes, and water softeners
• Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogged drains, and burst pipes
• Weld on piping, structural steel, and complete misc. welding tasks
• Silver solder copper piping and repair backflow devices
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete timely, accurate documentation
• Manage inventory, maintain tools/equipment, and keep workspaces organized

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed an Apprenticeship program and 10+ years of related experience or equivalent training
• State Journeyman Plumber card (required), Master Plumber and local licenses (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and Forklift/Aerial Lift certifications
• Strong technical reading, writing, and math skills (including fractions, percentages, geometry, trigonometry)
• Ability to solve practical problems and follow written, oral, or diagram instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally
• Able to use ladders, boom lifts, and other equipment safely
