Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Culture Development:
- Collaborate with local leadership to foster a culture centered on customer service, quality, integrity, and accountability.
- Engage and empower employees to provide superior client treatment in a safe and compassionate environment.
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage recruitment processes for all levels of staff, including exempt, nonexempt, and temporary workers.
- Write job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and perform background checks.
- Extend job offers and conduct new employee orientations.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Administer HR plans and procedures for personnel within designated areas.
- Assist in developing, communicating, and implementing personnel policies.
Performance Management:
- Execute performance management plans to ensure timely feedback for employees, including 90-day and annual reviews.
HR Operations Setup:
- Establish HR operations for new locations or during acquisitions.
Benefits Coordination:
- Work with the Benefits Administrator to ensure accurate and timely communication of benefit information.
Training Compliance:
- Ensure all training requirements are met for employees.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and collaborate with management to resolve issues.
- Coach managers on handling employee matters and recommend disciplinary actions when necessary.
Record Keeping and Compliance:
- Maintain department records and reports in compliance with regulatory and licensing standards.
- Complete reporting requirements accurately and on time.
HRIS Management:
- Accurately enter new employees into the HRIS and update information throughout their tenure.
- Document changes as needed for employee files.
Leave Administration:
- Administer workers' compensation, Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), and other leave of absence information promptly.
Wage and Hour Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour practices by reviewing and approving timekeeping records before payroll submission.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in leadership and departmental meetings as required.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on various initiatives within the company.

- Subject matter expert on federal and state specific employment and wage and hour law.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulatory requirements as it relates to Human Resources.
